rooom also successful in 2020

Victory photo after the award as Startup Winner

On Thursday, 30.02.2020, rooom set off for Freiburg im Breisgau. Besides the possibility to present the concept of rooom to many companies, a very special prize was awarded. For our CEO Hans Elstner and our CTO Hendrik Lober this was nothing new but still an exciting undertaking. The long journey from Jena should have been very worthwhile for everyone.

Selected from 400 startups

With Techboost, Deutsche Telekom now supports around 400 startups in developing and disseminating their ideas, as well as in growing. Only eight of these young companies were selected to present themselves from their best side and make new contacts. The fact that we were particularly well received with our innovation could not be overlooked or overheard even during the presentation. Hans Elstner and Hendrik Lober, who have now become experts in their field, received applause from the scene and a few laughs. With charm and wit, but above all with a lot of know-how and last but not least with the business idea, they were able to convince the audience. So it probably didn't surprise many people that they finally managed to prevail with a clear lead over the other startups.

rooom is Startup-Winner

The award as a start-up winner can open many doors and ears for rooom. Not only the trip to Digital X in Cologne, where another presentation on the main stage is waiting, but also a flight to San Francisco is scheduled for this autumn. There we can tackle our next goal as an up-and-coming company - winning international customers. But we already have a new partner on our side. Deutsche Telekom will work closely with rooom in the future and will also present and offer the platform solution to its customers.

The vision of making 3D, virtual and augmented reality suitable for the mass market and accessible to everyone will thus become more tangible again.
