rooom in the jury - Founders and Innovation Day

For a start-up, the topics founding and innovative ideas are commonplace. rooom is really experienced in this area. We have leraned about it in the last weeks again by winning different prices. Now it was time not only to collect prizes. Our CEO Hans Elstner took a look at the other side at the Founders and Innovation Day and joined the jury of the pitch competition "Punktlandung".

Six teams presented their founding ideas and explained the innovation behind them. Of course, the jury's expertise required critical questions in order to put the presentations through their paces. After each team had completed the pitch, the evaluation was carried out. The potential hidden behind the idea and the presentation were decisive.

Spot landing at the pitch 

After all, Team MIRACULIX was able to win the audience award. They presented a quantitative test system in order to quickly and cost-effectively determine a large number of psychoactive substances from various carriers. Hans Elstner is very interested in the project and the team and was enthusiastic about the idea. The jury prize went to IVOC-X Clean air. They have made it their business to make the exhaust air in production cleaner and more efficient. This founding idea could significantly improve environmental protection and occupational safety. Both teams convinced with an entertaining and understandable presentation. This enabled them to secure the 500 euro prize, which was donated by bm-t Beteiligungsmanagement Thüringen GmbH and Sparkasse Jena-Saale-Holzland.
