Victory at the StartupCon in Cologne's LANXESS Arena

There are great news behind the scenes of our 3D modular system again. Our CEO Hans Elstner and the leading 3D developer Hendrik Lober have once again pitched their way to victory on the OpenMic stage of the StartupCon in the LANXESS Arena in Cologne.

Rooom at Germany's largest founders' conference

StartupCon was launched in 2014. The aim of the event is to bring young companies with innovative ideas together with investors in a modern way. This year, well over 200 start-ups were there, courting the favor of the donors. One of the best known speakers was Frank Thelen, whom you know who you have seen before in the "Lions' Cave". We secured our stand at the founder's conference by winning the Thuringian Investor Days in June. And in between we made the first place at the Investforum Pitchday X.

In addition to a presentation stand and the opportunity to present ourselves on the OpenMic stage, there were also face-to-face pitches with interested investors. We at rooom had four of them and were one of the most sought-after startups this year. Without revealing too much, we can say that we were able to initiate many extremely interesting cooperations.

Convincing performance at MainStage

Since we had already won the wildcard for participation in the StartupCon 2019, we were allowed to pitch on the main stage this year as well. That was an excellent exercise for next year, when it comes to winning the competition for the TECH Award. We are already looking forward to it.
