Soccer goes Metaverse

We presented an inspiring use case of the rooomPortal together with our partner NEXTLIVE at the OMR Festival 2023. The Bayer Leverkusen soccer club utilized the augmented reality portal to create a very special brand experience for the visitors. When walking through the portal arch, visitors were immersed in the soccer stadium and could experience a legendary winning goal of the Bundesliga team against FC Bayern Munich hands-on.

In an interview with NEXTLIVE, Josua Lehr, Head of Pre-Sales & Product Development B2B at Bayer 04 Leverkusen, says: "The brand experience of our team at the OMR, which NEXTLIVE implemented together with Roover Metaverse Consulting and rooom AG, was a great success. We are currently thinking about how we can shape the cooperation in the future."
